After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. And it's a turn of events that will surely please longtime fans of the character.Ĭaptain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. ![]() And while they all look to have moderately updated costumes, as is the norm for all Marvel movies (gotta keep that action figure line humming), it is Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man who seems to be getting the biggest and best upgrade. They include Chris Evans's Captain America, Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, Don Cheadle's War Machine and Paul Rudd's Ant-Man. These latest set photos were taken in Germany, where the last few scenes were shot. Which means that elements from that comic book storyline may surface on screen next May, when Captain America: Civil War kicks off the summer movie season. What some of you may have missed, which Heroic Hollywood has been quick to point out, is that the armor in the set photos is based on the Bleeding Edge armor.
